I have a ton of other things that need to be done, but my lovely bride instead suggested I take a motorcycle ride. It was a nice day with the temp nearly 90 and a light breeze with mostly sunny skies, a little warm but not too warm for a ride.
I’m glad my wife suggested this, in less than a month I’ll be moving across the country so it’s one of my last chances to ride the pretty good roads I’ve enjoyed the last 20 years.
The route I took was circuitous but took me through about 100 miles of my old favorites and am quite refreshed now. I may do this again later this week. Maybe even next weekend a trip to sneak in some fall fishing too...
At any rate - enjoy the rest of your weekend Oppo. I have to paint a bathroom now.

That you have a wife that suggests you go out on two wheels makes her 100% a keeper. :)

Yes she is - we’ll have been married for 16 years in a little over 2 months from now.
She even convinced me to move my second bike too instead of selling it and just moving the one.

Good! As I said in my email, that bike should stay with you.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a picture of your bike. I really dig it with the hard bags and trunk.

I don’t post it often enough. I just put those bags on it this spring, but it’s had the trunk almost since I bought it.

No, I’ve had no issues with it. Even got a taller windshield I swap onto it when the temp drops.

they must have learned from his, don’t actually know what years we are talking, his was designed to be totally mounted in rubber with nothing actually keeping it mech anically tied to the bike. when the rubber got a little loose he was afraid it was about to come off and smack him in the face, looks like yours is an improved version hopefully
